OpsManage’09. Invensys (parent company of Eurotherm and Wonderware-names familiar with most heat treaters) is announcing a series of global events focusing on implementing successful business practices in the manufacturing and industrial markets.
To put the show into a heat treat perspective; many of the major Furnace OEM’s use or have used the Wonderware Intouch software for their HMI’s and some use the Historian package for data collection.
The show is a chance to take part in instructor guided sessions to help optimize the use of the Wonderware tools as well as small group training sessions on Wonderware and other Invensys offerings. There will be an opportunity to see the latest offerings including Mobile solutions, Energy and Facilities management and Operational Performance and also take part in Industry Forums (General Manufacturing and the Mining, Metals and Mineral would be the most suitable for heat treatment).
The show is geared around best practice in achieving operational flexibility and responsiveness by utilizing Automation products from the newly formed Invensys Operations Management Group (brands include Avantis, Eurotherm, InFusion, Foxboro, SimSci-Essor, Triconex and Wonderware).
